The Ruby is a rare and modern two-bedroom gem situated in Tangmarg, Kashmir. Just 30 minutes away from the Gulmarg Gondola, The Ruby is a jewel of a home that invites you to experience Kashmir at its most magical. Named after the precious gemstone, its ruby-red interiors and bold glass facade symbolise passion, luxury, and rarity, making it a truly one-of-a-kind escape.
The villa’s striking white facade with its sloping roof and floor-to-ceiling glass doors gives it a modern yet timeless presence amidst the mountains. Inside, two bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind, featuring ensuite washrooms, TVs, plush linens, electric blankets, and traditional gas bukhari’s to keep you cozy. A spiral staircase adds character to the space, connecting the ground floor to the upper floor room.
The ground floor bedroom is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a king-sized bed, a cozy sofa seating corner, and tall glass windows that bring the outdoors in. Step outside into the open space for long walks, morning yoga, or evenings by the bonfire and BBQ. With outdoor seating set against a backdrop of trees and valleys, every corner is made for making memories.
Ideal for couples, small families, or close friends, this pet-friendly tiny home is more than just a stay. The Ruby is a rare find - an intimate, character-filled home where architecture, comfort, and the spirit of Kashmir comes together.

Meals
- A complimentary breakfast is included in the tariff.
- Other meals can be ordered at the property on request. All meals are prepared by our in-house chef:
- Vegetarian meal - Rs. 800 per meal per guest
- Non-vegetarian meal - Rs. 1,000 per meal per guest
- Children - Rs. 500 per meal
- We request all our guests to inform the staff about their meal preferences well in advance.
- Please follow the meal timings:
- Breakfast: 8:30 am - 10:30 am
- Lunch: 1 pm - 3 pm
- Dinner: 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm
House Rules
- Check-in time: 02:00 PM; Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. You may smoke only in the outdoor areas.
- Only guests included in the booking are allowed to stay overnight. No unregistered or outside guests are permitted.
- Please keep noise and music levels low after 10:00 PM.
- Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to the property. Charges will apply based on the actual cost of repair or replacement.
- Any form of illegal activity is strictly prohibited on the premises."
Advance and Cancellation Policy
- We take at least 50% of the total booking amount as advance, in order to confirm the booking. The balance payment is to be cleared at the time of check-in at the property. Food and other services bills, if any, are to be cleared at or prior to check-out.
- If cancellation is made less than 30 days before the check-in date, the advance amount will be non-refundable and the booking dates would not be adjusted.
Other Things to Note
- The Ruby and Gulistan House are located on the same premises. Larger groups interested in booking both properties can reach out to us.
- Bonfire and BBQ can be setup with prior notice at an additional cost.
- There is parking available on the property premises.
- We are pet-friendly, however, guests are requested to take responsibility for their care and any damage caused.
- Gas heaters and electric blankets must be switched off before you go to sleep.
- Gas bukhari’s can be used for up to four hours at a time.
- The last stretch of the road leading to the villa is not be fully concrete. During the winter months, guests may need to get dropped and walk a little because of snow.
- Driver Accommodation - we can provide driver accommodation at an additional charge of Rs. 1,500 per night (subject to availability).
- Guests can rent out our Royal Enfield (Model 2023 350CC Meteor) for getting around, at an additional cost.
- Kindly switch off all lights and appliances when not in use.
- We have made this home with a lot of love. Kindly treat it with respect and take care of it.
