Step Inside Baaggechi

Handpicked Homes · Heartfelt Hospitality

Baaggechi is a refined three-bedroom boutique homestay nestled near Baijnath, in Palampur, a charming tea town cradled by the majestic Dhauladhar Range in Himachal Pradesh. Set amid fruit orchards and manicured gardens, the home opens to sweeping valley and mountain views, crisp Himalayan air (AQI 3–60), clear blue skies, and a rare, restorative quiet. Mornings begin with birdsong; evenings ease into calm - inviting you to slow down and be fully present.

The villa offers three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each crafted for comfort and ease. Every room features an attached washroom, elegant seating, a smart TV, luggage rack, and plush essentials including fresh linens and premium branded bath amenities that deliver gentle care with the feel of organic mountain luxury. Guests also enjoy tea/ coffee making facilities, hot & cold ACs, oil radiators, 24x7 solar geysers supplemented by individual geysers, and generous quilts with spare blankets to keep winter nights warm and cozy.

Each bedroom is named after birds frequently spotted on the property. Jujurana includes a private balcony, Sunbird opens directly into the garden, and Hornbill connects seamlessly to the inviting living area. The living space itself is airy and welcoming, styled with curated wall art and soft lighting, Bluetooth-enabled speaker (perfect for sing-along), and an eight-seater dining table with premium crockery and cutlery. A fully equipped kitchen and a small, quiet library complete the indoors.

Outdoors, Baaggechi truly comes alive. Two lovingly maintained gardens invite lingering moments with a book or a cup of tea. The gazebo, Flycatcher, offers a tranquil perch to soak in the views. Evenings can be spent around a starlit bonfire, enjoying a BBQ, or savouring tandoori parathas from the traditional tandoor. For those keen on local flavours, the desi chulha offers an authentic Pahari cooking experience. Home-style meals are prepared with care using fresh produce from our organic farm, and guests can also opt for a traditional Himachali Dham - a distinctive culinary highlight.

Hosted by Latika and Sandeep (A retired Colonel of the Indian Army), Baaggechi reflects a graceful blend of warmth, quiet discipline, and attentive hospitality. Ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends, it also lends itself beautifully to curated experiences such as pre-wedding shoots, yoga and wellness retreats, intimate lunches or high teas with a view, and small private family celebrations.

At Baaggechi, you’re not just booking a stay, you’re stepping into a thoughtfully designed Himalayan home where comfort, nature, and heartfelt hosting come together effortlessly.

Guests have the option to book individual rooms as well - please reach out for details.
